Severe Weather       

     
Disruptive environmental events such as solar flares (peaking over the next two years),  Icelandic volcanic ash (still a threat), as well as flooding, heat and high wind pose risks to London based business interests.  In this seminar we will take a balanced look at the business risks posed by such events and how businesses can mitigate those risks.

Open, Frank Discussion
All BCI-LF meetings and events are held under the "Chatham House Rule." Attendees are free to use the information from the meetings on the understanding that the identity and affiliation of speakers are kept secret. All prospective attendees must consider this stipulation prior to attending and attendance is considered to be consent. We find that this encourages open and frank discussion and is an important factor in the high quality of our gatherings.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation of an event by The BCI-London Forum (BCI-LF)

The BCI-London Forum reserves the right to cancel an event or any associated event at its sole discretion. In the event of such a cancellation the BCI-LF will refund any monies paid to The BCI-LF in respect of this booking.

The BCI-LF expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages howsoever arising as a result of such cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. In the event of cancellation, the BCI-LF will use reasonable endeavours to alert those who have booked to attend an event, and details of any cancellation will be posted on the BCI-LF website http://www.bcilondonforum.org

Attendees are responsible for checking this information on this site prior to the event.

Cancellation by those booked to attend an event

Cancellation of attendance by individuals or groups must be given in writing and received by BCI-LF Events, Samantha Holland, via email at or telephone at 07860 596908, at least 7 days prior to the event to be entitled to receive a refund. Those who fail to attend or cancel their attendance within 7 days of the event, for whatever reason, will not receive a refund.
