"Does Work Area Recovery Have a Future?"
A backup site, also known as a work area recovery site, is a location that critical staff can relocate to following a major disruption. The third party work area recovery and DR industry has consolidated in the past few years in the London area and members are being quoted much higher renewal prices. Work area recovery costs are a significant portion of a company's budget for preparedness. Should companies continue to subscribe to these or are alternatives, such as increased home working, tipping the balance in favour of different means to an end?
